My Book series from Western Digital (WDC) is getting a new product line called Thunderbolt DUO. This new storage solution is the first series to support Intel’s Thunderbolt technology that could run at a blazing speed.

The Thunderbolt DUO is coming with two 3.5-inch hard drive in RAID 0 stripped array with up to 2Gbps transfer speed, which is equal to 250MBps. This storage is certainly not making a good use of the thunderbolt interface (as it can run at a much faster state), but it’s sufficient to compete with some SSD’s performances.

After announcement made on December last year, Lenovo has finally released their ThinkPad X130e. This laptop has been nominated and designed exclusively for students in grades K-12 as it’s been accompanied with handful of supportive features for students.

Student will also get the options to choose from Intel or AMD CPU with integrated GPU. Although it won’t let them run hardcore games, it should be sufficient to use on any multimedia tools for learning purposes. The best of all is the build of the laptop. It has come with a rubber bumper that can absorbs impacts at the side of the laptop, and it’s coming with more features such as:
- 33 percent stronger corner to reduce the chance of damage when dropped at an angle
- Stronger hinges with up to 30,000 cycles
- Military-spec tested for durability
- Stronger Bezel with 1.2mm thick plastic to protect the LED panel
- Tools for digital learning environment: low-light-sensitive webcam, headphone/mic jack, speakers, Skype, Kindle for PC
- Island style keyboard
- Active Protection System™ always on, to protect against sudden drops

Jaja Pressure Stylus pen is invented by a smart Australian John Atherton. His Jaja stylus pen is really stand out, not because of the design, but because of the feature that looks intriguing for tablet users.
Beside you can view where the tip of the pen land on the screen, you can easily enhance the drawing using the pressure sensitive tip, and there are two practical buttons built-in on the pen that you can summon instant menu to the screen.

There is a new concept from YankoDesign that looks pretty cool. It’s a pen technology, where make turning your scribes into digital version as easy as possible. The pen concept is called “Recorder Pen“, according to the designer, the pen will have a handful of interesting features. What the designer have revealed is the built-in laser locator, it has processor and a USB flash drive as well at the other side of the pen where you can remove it easily to transfer the digital version of your scribes into your PC.

Anything that could make my morning life easier would be welcomed. I don’t eat bread, egg, sausage and a cup of coffee every morning, but with this new but retro BreakfastStation, I would have them anyway.
